Safe Water Canada is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We only have access to collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone. We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. Safe Water Canada will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order. Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, or new products and services. It is your responsibility to periodically check this privacy policy for any amendments. Safe Water Canada collects information from you when you register on the site or place an order. When ordering or registering, we may ask you for your name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number, or other information. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.

Safe Water Canada does not share collected demographic information.   The contact information is not stored on the website.

Safe Water Canada does not use cookies on this website.  This website may (in future) contain links to other sites on the internet that are owned and operated by third parties. You acknowledge that Safe Water Canada is not responsible for the operation or content located on or through any such site.

Typographical Errors

In the event that a Safe Water Canada product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, Safe Water Canada reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Safe Water Canada reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed.  If payment has been issued for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Safe Water Canada shall issue a refund in the amount of the incorrect price.

Product specifications and other information have been provided by Safe Water Canada. In the event that the information on Safe Water Canada or New Millennium Concepts, Ltd official printed documents differs from the information contained on this site, the information on such printed documents shall take precedence. Policies and Procedures

Safe Water Canada is an Authorized Distributor of all Berkey® products. These products are intended for water filtration and/or purification and to assist individuals in the event of a disaster or other situation in which the water available may have become compromised. We stand by our products and offer various testing results upon request. We accept payment by way of cash, E-transfer, credit cards and Paypal.  Please ensure your billing address matches the address that you have on file with your bank. Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order. All orders will be charged before they are shipped. For a multiple product order, we will make every attempt to ship all products contained in the order at the same time. Products that are unavailable at the time of shipping will be shipped as they become available, unless you inform us otherwise. You will only be charged for products contained in a given shipment, plus any applicable shipping charges. You will only be charged for shipping at the rate quoted to you on your shipping receipt. Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. Safe Water Canada reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason or to supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item.

Product Reviews

Safe Water Canada gives you the option to post reviews of our products. In doing so, it is understood that the review must be your honest opinion, accurately state facts, be relevant, and concise. We recommend no more than 300 words. Product reviews must not be obscene, distasteful, offensive or spiteful, defamatory to or harass another person, impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity. Product reviews must not contain the name, contact details or any other personal data of another person, contain any advertising or promotional material including links to another website, contain material created by another person or which infringes the rights of another person, or contain comments on another customer’s review. These guidelines apply to every product review. Safe Water Canada will determine, in our sole discretion, whether a product review breaches these guidelines. Safe Water Canada has the right to freely use, edit, alter, reproduce, publish and distribute the material contained in your product review. The rights which you grant us Safe Water Canada in respect of any product review you submit to our website means (without limitation) that we are free to publish all or part of it, even if you change your mind and request us to remove it; we may remove or edit it; and we may use it in relation to the promotion or advertising of products and services on our website.

Out of Stock Items

Safe Water Canada does not guarantee the stock of any of our products. We will give an indication of items being out of stock on the product page of the product that is out of stock.

Safe Water Canada Shipping Policy:

Your order must be 100% accurate prior to finalizing.  Please double check your address and remember to include your Unit # etc, if applicable.  Enter your billing address as it is written on your credit card statement or it may not process.

Once your order has been placed it may be packed and shipped immediately; it cannot be cancelled and we are not able to add to the order or change the shipping address etc.  If you wish to add to your order, you must make a new order.  They may or may not be combined in the same box.

If for any reason you do not want your order after it has been placed, it will be treated as a return.  Please view our return policy.

We ship via Canada Post, Expedited Parcel.  Your order will leave our warehouse within 2 business days.

We ship all orders from our warehouse in Edmonton, Alberta.  Orders ship out daily, M-F, excluding holidays.

You will be notified by email when your order has shipped and a tracking number will be provided.

Warranty Policy

NEW MILLENNIUM CONCEPTS, LTD. LIMITED WARRANTY (Fulfilled by Safe Water Canada)

Terms:

Black Berkey® Purification Elements:

The Black Berkey® Purification™ Elements are covered under a two year limited prorated warranty, calculated in six month intervals.  In other words, if you have used the filters for six months, 75% of the guarantee still applies and so you can get a replacement set for 25% of the normal cost. This warranty applies only to products manufactured or exclusively distributed by New Millennium Concepts, Ltd. and its authorized Berkey dealers. Units and components:

New Millennium Concepts, Ltd. warrants their product against defects in materials or workmanship during ordinary consumer use. This limited warranty does not cover product issues caused by any other reason, for the time periods and conditions set forth below when purchased directly from New Millennium Concepts, Ltd. or from an authorized Berkey® dealer. For a period not to exceed twelve months from the original date of purchase of the product, New Millennium Concepts, Ltd. will, solely at its discretion, replace a stainless steel system or component that it deems is not functioning properly during the stated warranty period.   The Berkey Light system is covered under a six month warranty.

New Millennium Concepts, Ltd. shall not be held liable for incidental or consequential damage to personal property from, but not limited to, a defective unit, improper use, abuse, accident, or neglect, etc. It is the customer’s responsibility to prevent misuse of the system and to replace parts, when, due to the natural course of wear and tear, they must be replaced. To obtain warranty service, you must provide a dated receipt for the product and pay for any shipping charges incurred to return the product to New Millennium Concepts, Ltd.

This warranty will not apply to units which have been used for purposes not intended, which have been altered so as, in the manufacturers judgment, to adversely affect its performance. This warranty is for the original retail purchaser only, and cannot be transferred.

The laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada will govern any disputes regarding this warranty or claim made. This warranty, which is given expressly in lieu of all warranties, expressed or implied, or merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, constitutes the only warranty made by New Millennium Concepts, Ltd.

Return Policy

Berkey products are typically highly reliable once their basic operation is understood. Safe Water Canada will make every reasonable effort to help remedy any concerns you have. If we have not been able to remedy your concerns and you are dissatisfied with an item(s) you purchased from us that has not been used, please contact us within 14 business days of receipt. Return shipping is at the buyers expense, unless there was an error made by us. In order to receive a full refund, the items must be unused and returned in the original retail box/packaging. If an item is returned damaged by personal handling or return shipping and not returned in re-saleable condition it will not be eligible for a refund or exchange. In the case of a return, the customer is responsible for return shipping fees and insurance. We charge a 20% restocking fee on all returns.

All product returns require an authorization number, (RMA) which will be emailed to you.  This RMA number must be clearly marked on the outside of the box. Boxes without this number will be refused at the cost of the shipper.

You will ship us the item in it’s original condition, in the original box, with all of the original packaging and parts to receive a full refund of the purchase price.  We do not charge restocking fees.  You are responsible for return shipping costs of non-defective merchandise.

Items that are damaged and/or not in resalable condition may not be eligible for a refund or exchange.

Refunds or credits for any reason can take up to 2 weeks to process.  From the date you receive our credit memo by email, refunds may take 5-10 business days for your financial institution to process before appearing on your statement.

We appreciate your understanding and patience in our efforts to coordinate all the logistics in processing this paperwork.
